Alter Intelligence is building AI-powered, asset-level physical climate risk analytics for a world where extreme weather is the new normal. We’re looking for a Remote Sensing & Geospatial AI Engineer to join our core technical team.
You’re a fit if you have:
- M.Tech or PhD in Remote Sensing, Water Resources, GIS, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong Python skills with geospatial libraries (GeoPandas, Rasterio, Xarray, GDAL, etc.)
- Experience working with SAR, Optical Satellite Imagery, DEMs, and Other Earth observation datasets
- Experience applying remote sensing to disaster management (floods preferred)
- 0–4 years of experience; Capability matters more than years.
Bonus if you bring:
- AI/ML or deep learning for Earth Observation.
We're a lean, ambitious team working on problems that matter — Extreme Weather Risk in India and the USA, where the data gaps are real and the stakes are high.
📍 New Delhi | 🕐 Full-time | 🌍 Climate Tech | Hybrid Work (Remote + Office).
We will meet in the office for 7-10 days a month and hence the candidate should be based in Delhi NCR Region or should be willing to shift for the role.
